It’s a secret I wouldn’t just tell anybody, so let me just get it out there in cyber world. I broke down and watched Sex In the City, the movie. Whheeww that feels better. The movie itself was pretty good…..a little skanky, endearing, and funny, but good. However, I am now madly in love with Sarah Jessica Parker. I love her sense of fashion in the movie, her wild and crazy hair, her shoes (OMG – the shoes!!!!), of course her a-mazing wardrobe, and did I mention her hair??

Lucky for me, my shoot with Britany, a rising senior, reminded me so much of SJP! She is beautiful inside and out, and I had so much fun unleashing her inner celebrity! Good luck this year Britany! Work those curls every chance you get!

Hayley: Seniors Only

I’ve been thinking that instead of doing photography, I should open up a modeling agency, because these 2010 seniors are rockin’ the durn house… I mean, camera.

You might remember my latest senior, Hayley, from the jumping picture in Hannah’s shoot. They have been friends for a long while, but now live across the state from one another.

Hayley is a rising senior @ Johnsonville High School. She is gorgeous, easy going, and full of life, like all rising seniors, especially cheerleaders, should be! And I’m pretty sure I know where she gets it from!

These pictures are some of my ALL-TIME FAVORITES! Thank you so much Barbara and Hayley (and Chelsea) for being so great! Hope we run into each other more!

Seniors Only: Hannah

I was going through some old pictures the other day that I hadn’t been through in a long while. Ok, fine, I was cleaning out drawers that hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long?! Anyway, THE POINT IS….that I discovered something HUGE. No, it wasn’t a picture of my butt, unfortunately. It was bridal pictures of myself. The discovery that was so simple was that I, Hannah Gray-Childs Lockaby, AM NOT PHOTOGENIC! I’m not really sad about it, it’s just a fact of life, some people take great pictures, all the freakin time, and I just don’t happen to be one of those people. I was ok with it, seriously, sniff, until I started looking through my pictures from the seniors-only-session with the “other Hannah”.

Hannah is a rising senior from Liberty, South Carolina, and I hereby do solemnly swear that this senior CANNOT take a bad picture. Eyes closed, mouth open, talking, wiping off sweat, shoulders hunched, shoulders forward, looking at the camera, not looking at the camera, being goofy, lol, it just doesn’t matter, she owns every look, sickening really! And if you don’t believe me, I’ve got over a thousand pictures to prove it! Besides being beautiful, Hannah plays volleyball (Heck, yes!), loves to laugh, is up for anything, and most importantly loves Jesus!

Hannah, I hope your senior year rocks, and you make TONS of great memories!!! Hope to see you guys soon!
