Marlee = Cutiepie!
May 2, 2009 in CutiePiesThe first annual Gone to Greenville sessions were looking pretty good three weeks out; however, after having 5 of my 7 sessions cancel for various reasons it wasn’t lookin’ so H-O-T-T, if you know what I mean!
I could of groaned, pouted, stomped my feet, cried a little, be mean to my husband, cancelled it, but oddly enough, I had learned through teaching the kids at my church that even though sometimes we think life is not fair, God gives us exactly what we need. As I was teaching these kids what Jesus went through and did not stop once to whine like a baby about it not being fair, I could hear God speaking to me as well. I decided to pick up my big girl britches and headed towards Greenville with a good attitude.
My first shoot of the day was little Marlee. What a stinkin’ cutie! Katie, Marlee’s mom, was such an encouragement to me. I don’t know about other photographers, but this one is not cocky. Confident, not cocky!!! It makes my day to hear someone tell me they love my pictures! It makes it worth dealing with other “stuff” in the biz, to know someone, besides yourself, likes the photos you deliver. Katie & Jason thanks so much for having me photograph your little blessing. Give me a call this summer when you guys come to the beach.
